Swatch : Don't touch my mosserati! - Catrice mono eyeshadow

Hi everyone!

I always try to stay away from mono eyeshadows in stores, because I get so easily tempted to buy colours that I already have. But I saw this one caught my eye and I just had to had it! It is soooo pretty! It's the perfect mossy green with golden shimmer. I absolutely love it!
And it ws Catrice, so didn't cost me a fortune, €2,89 to be exactly.

Hi everyone :)

This polish is my favourite colour fot autumn! It's warm and something between gold and orange. It has a beautiful foil finish (a bit like In the bronx and Goldfinger)

The consistency is great, goes on smoothly, but it needs 2 to 3 coats to be completely opaque.

I really like the new brush that the Catrice polishes have; the round edges help me get it right around the cuticles...

And some exciting news: I HAVE MY DRIVER'S LICENSE, finally! :D such a relief when I heard the examinator said I passed...  Couldn't believe it at first.

Anyways; what are your favourite colours to put on in autumn?

 

 



Rainbow Challenge : Pink and Green!

Hi everyone :)

I decided to do this double too :) I'm studying for my admission exam for medecines, so I don't really have the time to do my nails every day.

The green is Artful by P2 colour victim and the pink (that turns orange in the pictures) is Coral Island by Catrice. The photos don't do justice to one of these polishes. I guess they were too bright for my camera?
the green is washed out and the coral pink turned into orange, damn!

Hi everyone :)


I bought this polish (I think) 2 years ago. I applied it once on my toes and I kind of forgot it..
Today I found it in the back of my catrice stashbox and applied it on my nails and totally loved it!

In the bronx applies like a charm and needs 2 coats to be opaque. I absolutely love the colour... It makes me think of a bronze version of Goldfinger.

Hi everyone! 

Today I got loads of pictures of this beautiful duochrome (gold to green) polish. Genius in the bottle is said to be a dupe for the Chanel polish Peridot, so I've been waiting so long until a cheaper brand - that I could get my hands on - would release a dupe, YAY!

So, it goes on like a charm and only need two layers to cover perfectly (bit streaky) and lasts quite long on my nails. I've been wearing this polish for approximately 5 days and only my index fingers are chipped to dead but my others fingers are looking fine with only a bit of tipwear.

The thing that makes it weird is that I think the polish darkens a lot while wearing it. Looking at my fingers now, the polish looks more bronze and the duochrome effect is almost gone... Is that even possible?

Anyways, I decided that I like the new brush from catrice... It polished so 'clean' (?). I had almost no cleaning up to do.

Hi everyone :)

I have this lying around for some weeks now, and today it found its way to my nails.

Crap application, really. It reminds me of apropos apricot. Rather thick consistency, what makes it hard to get it opaque. Colour is quite accurate. Bit  lighter than apropos apricot, just what I wanted. Drying time is rather long due the thickness of the polish, maybe it can be fixed with a little thinner (or that's what I hope)

About the new brush, I don't know if I have to hate it or to love it. The brush is like huge and covers my nails in two strokes and the bent edge makes it easy to go around the cuticles. But it very hard to get the right amount of polish on the brush. Or I had too much or I had too little.
I'm going to give it another shot with Genius in the bottle.

I'm a fan of pastel colours, hope you too :)

Here's a nude catrice polish from the florista collection that I picked up last week for only 1 euro

First, I actually like the design of the bottle! And i'm happy that the bottle looks as good as the polish :)
As almost all catrice polishes, the polish cover is 2 to three layers, application was great and I think I haven't noticed any downsides!

Hi!

Yesterday I could use the nail polish of a friend. I could choose between 2 colors and I chose the purple one, because purple is more a winter color than the other one.

I have to say I don’t really like the color, it’s not shiny enough to me. The polish covers in 2 layers. This time I used a base coat. It was my first time I used a base coat. Whoop Whoop ! 

But… The day after, the chipping started. Oh noo… Really ?! The polish didn’t stay pretty for 24 hours! Argh… Normally I love Catrice nail polish, maybe it’s because of the topcoat, but this time I really don’t.

Hi everyone!

Golden finger is a gorgeous golden polish with a beautiful finish (something inbetween matt and metallic) and is part of the new autumn/winter collection of Catrice!

It' s goes on sooooo easily, thin consistency but very good coverage! I adore the finish. It's not a metallic frost (don't like) but sort of a metallic matt (if that makes sense) and there are lots of golden and silver particles in it! LOVE IT !

Hi everyone :)

After the disaster of pukkelpop, finally a bit of summer breaks through and yes, I do really feel like flashy colours, like this beautiful colour here :)

I just cannot get it right on camera, it always turns to a soft orange, but it's actually a hot flashing pink with a subtile hint of orange !

Anyways, I really like the formula of the polish and it covers in 2 layers, it's jelly and I'm happy with it :)

Hi everyone :)

No polish today, but a great lipstain :)
I bought this one as part of the papagena collection, clearly it isn't... Anyways, it a red colour with a pink undertone and works great for so little money, (€3,99) !

I stays good on, but doesn't survive lunch but it's a perfect base for a red lipstick. I had another lipstain of  essence and that one dried out my lips :( so I like this one better!

Glad I got this one :)

The only polish I purchased from the LE Papagena is this polish. I didn't had any warm kakhicolour and I looove the golden touch (o shimmer) to it. If you look in the sun, you can see small red glitters.

The polish goes on really well and covers in two coats, too bad it's a little bit streaky.

Hi everyone :)

I doubted very long before I bought this semi - holo blurple polish, at the end I'm glad I did , because it is a magnificent colour :)

I did my best to catch the holo on photograph, but you only see the holographic glitters.

The polish dries pretty quickly and covers in one or two layers. Application is very smooth and easy. The holographic effect is lovely in the sun.

Now I see why everyone loves this colour :)
